The Universe is 20 Billion years old, The Earth: 5 Billion Years.
Humanity, remember, is Millions of years old. (Anatomically Correct Homo Sapiens, 500,000 years). The Process of Human Evolution did Not come to a screeching halt, the day science was invented. Billions of years yet remain for Human Evolution.
Humans have evolved in a process of sudden leaps, punctuated by time zones of relative inactivity. It is referred to as 'Punctuated Equilibrium'. i.e., not a straight line of evolution, but in, fair to say, 'jumps':
Quantum Physics has reached a point in Academia, to consider 'Consciousness' as an element in Nature. That is, it is a Force in Nature. Besides Doctors already admitting the power of a person's consciousness has a significant effect on Healing, (if not seminal), Quantum Physics is saying something more subliminal.
The Presence of Consciousness effects Electrons and Quarks, the most elemental 'particles' in Nature. A Quark or Electron is only a 'Wave of Probabilities' before it undergoes the process of Observation, by Consciousness. Only then, does it start behaving like a particle, and not a wave. Now it slows down to a particular, measurable resnance, frequency etc.
So, was consciousness included in the 'Table of Elements' in Physics class ? Was it considered a force while discussing the 'Four Forces of our Universe' ? (Those being, Macro Nuclear, Micro Nuclear, Gravitation, and Thermodynamic).
What we have just scratched the surface of, is what the 'Wise Men' amd 'Medicine Men' said all along. Consciousness exists independently of the physical body, just using it for a time. At physical death, be prepared! You have been hitherto warned. I trust the Cosmos is intelligent, (fairly because I am). So your coming to this website could have unfathomable causes; your consciousness might be at the point to recognize what is being said. ( Maybe not, I might get some unintelligible e-mail, but I have my 'spam' shield handy! )
Millions of Near Death Experiences, Millions of Out Of Body Experiences suggest exactly that.
Interestingly, when the Heart Monitor 'Flat-lines' and the Brain activity is Nil is when the NDE occurs. (Deep sleep. in theta level, also has minimal brain activity.) In many cases it is a powerful life-changing event. People that have had them can describe either floating over the Hospital Bed, or experiences of another Dimension. Light etc., synonymous with their core beliefs. Buddhists come back with experiences of the 'Clear Light' of Consciousness, or the Beings described in the famed 'Tibetan Book of the Dead'. Christians seem to return with images of 'God' or 'Jesus'.
The next dimension is fast approaching mass human waking consciousness, though when that critcal-mass will be crossed is anyone's guess. The 2012 generation seems to indicate that all the acceleration in the past hundred years in all arenas, is going to culminate in November or December of that year, as the Mayan Calender indicates. In either case, the Millions of UFO experiences, and Crop Circles all indicate Trans-dimensional phenomena. Suddenly UFO's dont have to travel millions of light years to get here, just cross over from the other side. That is much more easily explainable. It fits a coherent cosmic paradigm. (It seems more intelligent than calling all the millions mentioned in the above two paragraphs 'crazy').
What the future will bring, I know not. I do know that every Second, 300,000 children are born. In the same second, 300,000 people die. The entire population of the Earth is completely replaced every hundred years (O.K., 120).
I think of someone as a know-it-all in the Nineteenth or Eighteenth Century. The World is flat, no automobiles, nothing can fly but birds, and the Sun goes around the Earth. The Stars are mere dots, "that will come crashing to the ground!"(Jesus). Don't get me wrong, Jesus was a wise man.
Each dot is a Galaxy of Billions of Suns, and their are Billions of Galaxies. (Go to Hubblesite.org).
Single suns are not visible to the naked eye.
So, are you a know-it-all ? With a Christ Complex? Well take heart, in a hundred years you won't be around to be laughed at. In that you can find your peace (or piece, of Reality).
